Bosch Professional GIC 120 C Pipe CameraThis Bosch Professional camera is not only used to inspect pipes, it is also useful to see more clearly in all those hard-to-reach places! Thanks to its 120 cm length, it can be used anywhere and its powerful LED lights up the area. Moreover, to ensure perfect visibility, a black and white function can be activated in addition to the digital zoom: the contrasts are then better to distinguish every detail. With its compact and very ergonomic shape, this camera is also easy to hold and handle, even in unusual positions. The Quick Connector technology makes it easy to unplug the cable and store it after use. Wireless, the device works finally thanks to 4 AA batteries that are provided, as well as a hook, a magnet and a mirror.
My opinion: Inspections of pipes, ducts, wall cavities, hydraulic systems, this camera from Bosch Professional is really capable of doing everything. You can even use it for car mechanics! Of all the models I’ve tried, this is by far my favourite. Not only is it very easy to use, but it’s practical and the image it sends out is of good quality, which is simply indispensable (especially since the screen is not too small, which is also a plus). Its 120 cm cable is quite sufficient, long enough to explore inaccessible places without making its deployment complicated. If you need a tool of this type for your professional activity, this is definitely the one I recommend!

anysun ihbuds drain camera The true professional endoscope! This Anysun not only has a 50m long cable, it also has all the technical features that are essential for effective use. The camera it is equipped with is capable of capturing a colour video with perfectly perceptible details, especially since 12 LEDs illuminate the inspected area. An image recording function is even available, with an 8GB SD card included. Thanks to its sapphire lens, it is absolutely scratch-proof, and waterproof too, since it is IP68. Made of fibreglass covered with PVC, it is also very resistant. The case in which it is included was also thought to make its use more practical: a reel allows to store it easily and as it takes the form of a case, it is easy to take from one intervention to another.
My opinion: It’s hard to do more than this pipe camera! To inspect very long pipes, it is really at the top: with its 50 m, it is one of those that offer the most distance. But what I really appreciated with this model is the excellent design and the numerous features. The quality of manufacture is there, the provided image is of beautiful quality, and the fact of being able to record it is a real plus. Especially since even if an 8 GB SD card is provided, it is possible to replace it by a 32 GB one! The case is also very practical, with locks to keep the material safe. The price is consequent, but the investment is worth it: it is an excellent professional device!

Zoto sewer camera Picture quality! The Zoto has a 4.3-inch monitor with a resolution of 2 megapixels: visually, every detail is clear, especially since magnification is possible. In order not to miss anything, the device also offers the possibility of recording a video or taking pictures thanks to an integrated memory powered by an SD card that can go up to 64 GB. Regarding the camera itself, it is waterproof (IP67), it offers a viewing angle of 60 ° and is equipped with 8 LEDs to perfectly illuminate the inspection area. With its 7 mm diameter, the semi-rigid cable fits everywhere, and it has a total length of 5 m. Finally, the device is powered by a 2600 mAh battery that guarantees a working time of about 5 to 6 hours.
My opinion: The best quality/price ratio you can find! This inspection camera was a pleasant surprise: I had no idea what it would do but Zoto did a great job. It’s really well thought out, and well designed, and it has what it takes to help in many situations. The image quality is good, and even if it’s not HD, it’s very sharp and thanks to the nice size screen, you can see everything clearly. The camera is not perfect, the lens is for example a bit too flat and mud and dirt are not chased away, but these are just details that do not spoil the overall good impression. With an SD card and a storage case included, this is an endoscope that I recommend without hesitation!

Bosch Universal Inspect Pipe CameraThe Bosch Universal Inspect has been designed to allow any individual to inspect their own pipes to easily locate clogs or damage. It is indeed a camera that offers optimal visibility: thanks to its head equipped with 4 LEDs with 8 levels of brightness, it is possible to find the perfect setting according to the situation, and with 3 levels of zoom and a black and white function, contrasts and details are better perceived. Easy to use, it has 3 buttons that activate each of its features. In addition to the lighting, the first one is used to rotate 180° while the second one allows for storing up to 8 photos (a micro-SD card from 4 to 32 GB can be inserted in the device). The 95 cm long cable can be easily rolled up for quick storage!
My opinion: A perfect inspection camera for DIYers! Bosch can usually be trusted to offer useful and well-designed devices, and this is once again the case here with this Universal Inspect. If it is clearly not intended for professional use, it is however very useful to do some repairs yourself and go inspect cavities, cracks or even inside the mechanism of the car or appliances. For this purpose, it has what is most important, i.e. waterproof protection and enough length of the cable. I’d rather warn you that the resolution isn’t great, but it’s more than enough for this kind of home use. And for less than 100€, it’s a good choice.

Yinama pipe camera This endoscope from Yinama comes with a 5m long cable, which allows it to inspect behind a wall as well as in a long pipe. Its camera is accompanied by 6 LEDs whose brightness is adjustable: they allow to transcribe of an image as faithful as possible, the image that appears on a screen of 2.4 inches. Both the cable and the camera are IP67 rated, making them dust and water-resistant for effective work in all conditions. The compact camera also comes with 4 accessories (a hook, a magnet, a waterproof cap and a mirror) that help solve the problem encountered, such as retrieving an object that blocks the pipe, for example. Finally, it comes with a 32GB SD card to capture photos and videos for analysis.
My opinion: With cheap devices, we often expect not to be totally satisfied, but Yinama proves the opposite here! For an inspection camera at less than 40€, it really does not have to be ashamed of its capabilities. So yes, the resolution on the screen is not exceptional, but it is really the only detail I could reproach it. The semi-rigid cable allows you to go deep into pipes, the LEDs offer excellent brightness, and as the whole thing is waterproof, the possibilities of using the device are multiple. For the price, the brand even provides several useful accessories and an SD card! So you’d really have to be picky not to appreciate this camera: it’s the kind of accessory that can always be used and that we should all have in our toolbox!
